The Lewis County Historical Museum is located at 599 NW Front Way in Chehalis, Washington. To support the Museum, we do charge an admission to visit and use the Research Library. We would love to have you experience the history of Lewis County!

Private & Group Tours
We do offer guided tours for groups of 5+ for an additional 1$ to admission. Please ask the front desk for more information or contact the Museum at (360) 748-0831 to reserve a guided tour.
Come on down to the Lewis County Historical Museum, located in the historic 1912 Northern Pacific Railway depot. We offer exciting hands-on displays depicting the early settlements and pioneer life in Lewis County, the oldest county in Washington State. Explore exhibits reflecting the area’s logging and rail history as well as a children’s hands-on area. Come see our rotating display's every quarter that feature a unique aspect of Lewis County history!
